Quality Caregiving through Self-Management Stress (SMS) #1

Post Event Update

The recorded session is also available on our YouTube Channel.

How does stress affect sleep, and what are some tips for improving sleep quality when under stress?

How can stress be effectively managed during times of crisis, especially in your caregiving journey?

How does chronic stress affect your health over the long-term?

Self-Management of Stress (SMS) is a unique, multi-dimensional approach to manage stress at the physical, mental and emotional levels. SMS calms the mind, improves the immune system, reduces stress and brings about homeostasis within the body. It balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and improves the quality of sleep.

SMS can be particularly important because caregivers often experience high levels of stress, which can lead to burnout, depression, and other negative outcomes that can affect the quality of care provided to their loved ones.

At this SMS workshop you will have a deeper understanding of stress from an Ayurvedic perspective and how stress affects the physical, mental, and emotional level. You will learn both theoretical and practical techniques to help overcome stress daily thereby increasing your overall health and productivity.
