About Mathilda D’Silva
Mathilda D'Silva is a diva of many talents. From her life as an ocean conservationist, television producer and social media strategist to her global renown as a vocal talent, there is no denying that she is a Singaporean diva. Since her rise to fame after Singapore Idol and The Big Break, Mathilda has brought her distinctive vocals of power and drama all over the world. She has been playing and singing in bands and folk acoustic duos since she was 12 years old.
Mathilda’s lack of formal training has been no impediment to her talent, as she feels that music should be an unprocessed expression of an inner craving. She is also a regular fixture in the local music and media scene and regularly organises music events across diverse genres from R&B, rock, pop, jazz and funk, putting Singaporean music in the spotlight.
