Anxiety Management Strategies for Caregivers

Constant worrying, intense fearfulness and helplessness, overwhelming thoughts on worst-case scenarios… As a caregiver, these are anxiety symptoms that can be unhealthy and even paralysing to your caregiving journey. The good news is that this is a condition that can be managed. In conjunction with World Alzheimer's Day, we bring to you a specially-for-caregivers workshop where you will learn practical strategies on relaxation, breathing and mindfulness to cope with caregiving anxiety. Pause, take a breather and join us at this workshop conducted by our senior counsellor, David Chay, and make a difference in your caregiving journey today. The workshop will be held on 21 September 2018, from 9:30am to 12pm, at Changi General Hospital, Integrated Building, Level 3, Meeting Room 34 - 35.

David Chay (M.A. Applied Psychology) is a retired psychologist. He was trained at the Graduate College of Northern Arizona University (NAU), Flagstaff, USA, in the HEALTH Psychology Program, a joint project between NAU and Harvard University led by teaching staff of Harvard College.
