Caregiver Training Programmes
*Note: Dear caregivers, we are experiencing an increase in demand, as more caregivers are signing up to participate in our classes. Please bear with us as we do our best to increase the number and frequency of classes in our training schedule to accommodate more participants.
The C2C PMHI Programme is CAL's signature training programme. It is a fully-funded 12-week course for caregivers of Persons with Mental Health Issues (PMHIs), and is held at locations all over Singapore.

The C2C Dementia Programme is for caregivers of persons with dementia. This fully-funded course runs over 8 weeks, and will teach you how to better care for your loved one with dementia.

Difference between dementia and signs of normal aging
This introductory talk explores what a shared understanding of trauma entails, its prevalence in Singapore, and how trauma can be caused by an event like the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants also learn how to identify trauma in children and youth caused by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
This workshop helps parents and caregivers how to integrate trauma informed care into their interactions with children and youths, as we help you understand:
1. What trauma entails
2. Trauma informed approaches
3. Implementation of trauma informed care
4. Healing and recovery
CAL occasionally holds other training programmes for the benefit of our caregivers. Some of these may focus on specific mental health conditions, such as dementia, while others may concentrate on specific aspects of caregiving, such as mindfulness.
